Travis Buchanan Wilkie. So many words come to mind when I hear his name. Loving, energetic, crazy, passionate, athletic, motivated, humble, funny, spontaneous, adventurous, daring, fearless, giving. The list goes on and on, but the word in that list that stands out the most to me is passionate.Travis brought passion to every aspect of his life. He was passionate about baseball, academics, flying, outdoors and most importantly, Travis was passionate about those he loved. He would do absolutely anything for the people that he cared about.

His passion, love, craziness, and excitement all formulated into an energy that radiated around him. You knew when travis walked into a room because his energy instantly filled it. He lived his life in full afterburner and never hesitated when an opportunity emerged to do something life changing or to help those around him.

An energy like Travis’ doesn’t just disappear, there was too much of it. His energy is still around use, encircling those who loved him most. It is through his family, friends, teammates and classmates that Travis’ legacy will continue on. His energy, spirit and enthusiasm for life will be kept alive because he left a lasting impact on all those who knew him.
